32Red sponsored Aston Villa during the 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 seasons. Shortly before the start of 32Red’s first season as Club sponsor, legendary Manager Martin O’Neill took the reigns at Villa Park ensuring the quality of football at Villa Park would be positively impacted. The 2006 / 2007 season was a solid one for Villa and O’Neill with the club’s profile rising significantly, something underlined by the new American owner of Aston Villa, Randy Lerner. Aston Villa finished 11th that season. The 2007/08 campaign was to be significant in the history of Aston Villa football Club as it marked the 25th anniversary of Villa landing the European Cup.

Our recent association with Aston Villa is something we are proud of and we believe that our successors and new sponsors of the Club will enjoy even greater heights than those achieved during the 2007 / 2008 Football Season which saw Villa finish in 6th position, just missing out on a UEFA Cup spot. One of the highlights of the year was the FA Cup clash with Manchester United at Villa Park in January 2008. A sell-out crowd saw United edge out Villa with the game being broadcast live on BBC1. Villa now command respect from any premiership team thanks to the development of Gabby Agbonlahor, the signing of the highly promising Ashley Young and the continued excellence of Club captain Gareth Barry. 

These are indeed exciting times at a resurgent Villa under a new and dynamic management regime and we at 32Red are delighted to have been associated with the biggest Club in England’s second city and one on the verge of a return to the very top of English football’s elite.
