Jackpots are good. The word in itself already conjures up a bit of excitement, and the prospect of hitting a jackpot adds a bit of spice to the game, whether it’s for a Bad Beat (when a big hand ‘loses’ to a bigger hand) or for finding yourself with a Royal Flush, as is the case for 32Red’s fun Flush Royale tournament, where a whopping €1000 is waiting for anyone who manages to hit poker’s magical hand using both hole cards.
One such player who did this – and on New Year’s Eve, no less – is LuckyRacoon (yes – someone called Lucky saw good fortune come his way; funny old world). No doubt happy to see in the New Year by playing in the well structured, €250 Guaranteed tournament, LuckyRacoon was dealt Ad Qd, got jiggy with it and the flop came Ah Kd 9s. His opponent had K9 and thus hit two pair, and the poker gods sent through the ether the Jd on the turn and then what must have been a beautiful looking Td to complete the royal flush. And with it a welcome €1000 jackpot.
He had this to say: It was a great start to my 2014, when on New Years eve, i played the 32Red Flush Royale tournament, starting at 9pm, and gaining popularity, day, by day, including a few 32Red regs, and thanks to 1 regular (Juicy-puice) hitting Her 2 pair on the flop, helped me to see the river card, and very fortunately, i hit my royal flush, and in so doing, i had a nice little bonus of €1000. I bubbled the prize pool, but felt only fair to the rest of the players; can’t be too greedy
A big thanks goes out to Nick Diaz, and all at 32Red, for putting on great promotions, and i hope they all continue. You have now got one great big fan
For those looking to get their hands on the jackpot, the Flush Royale tournament is held every night at 9pm (UK time) and has a buy-in of €5+1, 1500 starting chips, 8-minute rebuys, €5 rebuys (1500 chips) and a €7.50 add-on (3000 chips).
Good luck at the tables!Luck
Our Flush Royale tournament goes from strength to strength. Held every night at 9pm UK time, the prize fund has continued to increase to the present €175 guaranteed thanks to the excitement generated by the Flush Royale progressive jackpot.
In addition to the usual battle for the top places (the tension being cranked up by the €3 + €0.30 rebuys and €5 + €0.50 add-on), this offers players the added incentive of showing down a magical royal flush for the lion’s share of whatever the jackpot is at the time, which is exactly what ooblio managed in our latest instalment of the tournament. At that point the ever-growing jackpot had reached a juicy €912.37…
With 50% (€456.19) of the lolly going to ooblio and 25% (€228.09) being used to seed the next Jackpot, 25% (€228.09) was then split between the rest of the players at the Jackpot table, meaning TrickyVi-275, juicy-puice, -CR1ME_P4YS- and Pkrzender trousered €57.02 each for being in the right place at the right time! Not bad for a €3 + €0.30 buy-in.
Thanks to the success of the new Bad Beat Jackpot, with a lower ‘winning’ hand threshold, more frequent wins and a well distributed prize pool, another jackpot that promises to be great fun is the Flush Royale progressive jackpot. This revolves around a nightly multi-table rebuy tournament (with a buy-in of only €3+0.30) so that, as well as gunning for the jackpot as we hunt for a royal flush, everyone is also in the running for the prize money paid out to the top finishers. At least with two bites at quite different cherries we know that even if we’re nursing a short stack there’s still a chance to pocket – or earn a share of – the jackpot.
The quest for poker’s best, magical hand starts every night at 9pm UK time, and the aim of the game is to show down a Royal Flush, of any suit, using both hole cards. Manage this, and you win a share of the Flush Royale progressive jackpot.
Here’s how it works: 50% of the entry, rebuy and add-on fees goes towards the jackpot to keep it ticking along until it is hit, at which point the payout consists of 50% to the player making the Royal Flush, 25% split between the rest of the players at the table and the remaining 25% seeding the next jackpot.
Of course we need to remember that as well as keeping our fingers crossed that Lady Luck helps us find a royal flush (or at least that we’re sitting at the table where the jackpot is triggered), we’re also playing in a tournament, although we could do worse than invest some of our chips in any suited cards 10 or over.
Good luck at the Flush Royale tables!

The hunt is on for a Royal Flush of diamonds…
Join us every evening at 9pm (UK time) as we hunt for a precious Royal Flush of diamonds!
Be the first player to make a diamond Royal Flush and claim the Diamond Royale (DR) progressive jackpot. Our DR tournaments are played on the classic game of no-limit Texas Hold’em and offer 1500 starting chips with 10 minute blind levels. Each game is guaranteed at €150 and costs a tiny €6 + €1 to enter. While all buyins go towards the game’s prize pool, all tournament fees go towards the DR jackpot which we’ve started off at €500…
