German Poker Stop for EPT

New series 3 EPT event will take place in Dortmund, Germany

The growth of the European Poker Tour has been further strengthened with the announcement of a new Series 3 event to be staged in Dortmund, Germany from 8-11 March, 2007.
 
Capped at 400 players, the four-day, the €5,000 buy-in no-limit Texas Hold’em tournament at Hohensyburg Casino in Dortmund will be part of the televised EPT TV series.
 
EPT director John Duthie has been planning an EPT event in Germany for several months.
"There are not that many venues in Germany with the space and facilities required to host an EPT tournament, but Casino Hohensyberg in Dortmund is an outstanding casino and comfortably meets the high standards required," says Duthie. "Poker players will be pleased to hear that there will be a full schedule of tournament activities alongside the main event, and cash games will also be available."
