Master Classics of Poker Amsterdam

Online satellite qualifiers are underway from 3 August 2009 to win a superb €8,000 package to the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam, Holland. This is one of Europe’s oldest tournaments, hosted in one of the continents’ favourite cities. There is always high demand for seats in the Main Event and side events, which sell out fast. Buy-in for the Main Event tournament is €6,200, which should result in a massive prize pool of over €2 million.

Package Details

Players will be staying in superior rooms at the Park Hotel, directly opposite the Holland Casino, where the event is being held. Players will benefit from being on the doorstep of the event and within walking distance of Amsterdam’s main shopping district and cafés. The package includes*:

2009 Master Classics, Amsterdam - Structure

1. At any Level (satellite or online final), any player can buy in for cash + fee.
2. Any individual player can only win one seat at the Master Classics, Amsterdam.
3. 32Red’s package will include: six nights’ hotel accommodation: The entrance fee into the main event ofthe Master Classics, Amsterdam, from 9th‐15th November 2009, €820 towards travel expenses and spending money which will be credited to each package winner’s poker account.
4. No cash awards will be made from Satellite game seat wins to the next level. All prizes are entries to the next level of the competition with the exception of the final, the prize for which is a Package to each of the winners. The only possible way for a player to be paid a cash award is if there are insufficient entries in a satellite or at the final to cover the cost of additional seats to the next level. In this instance, the nature and value of any award will be determined by 32Red whose decision shall be final.
5. 32Red reserves the right to buy‐back entire Packages from players who have won a final Package for the Master Classics, Amsterdam Tournament. The price payable by 32Red to buy‐back a Package will be €8,000.
6. It is the individual winner's responsibility to arrange their own travel to Amsterdam for the event and to ensure that all travel documents (passport and visa, as required) are in order and to obtain any required travel and medical insurance. Lack of proper travel documents may be grounds for disqualification. 32Red will book all hotel accommodation.
7. It is the individual winner's responsibility to ensure that they are registered for the Main Event once qualifying funds have been credited to their poker account. 32Red shall in no way be liable should the winner not be registered for the event upon tournament start.
8. By entering the Master Classics, Amsterdam Online Final or Satellites players agree that their real names, aliases and images can be used for promotional purposes.
9. By entering the Master Classics, Amsterdam Online Final or Satellites, players agree that, should they win a Package, they will wear 32Red Operator apparel (hats and/or T‐Shirts) provided to them and will wear the apparel in accordance with the instructions of 32Red management.
10. Awarding of any and all prizes is at the sole discretion of 32Red management and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
11. Subject to the provisions of rule 6 above, the winner of a seat at the Master Classics, Amsterdam Online Satellites and/or Final tournament cannot sell, trade, assign or in any way transfer such seat to another person, and 32Red will not award cash in lieu of a seat at the Master Classics, Amsterdam Online Tournament or land based Final.
12. As in all tournaments, players may not sit out. Players who are not present shall be "blinded off" and their hands folded until they have no more chips and are eliminated.
13. All satellite games shall be Single or Multi‐Table, no‐limit Hold'em tables, following standard 32Red rules.
14. The prizes will be displayed in the tournament lobby as registration closes for each tournament.
15. Decisions as to players' eligibility to enter the Master Classics, Amsterdam Online Final and/or Satellites and to remain in and compete in same are at the sole discretion of 32Red management and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
16. 32Red management reserves the right to deny entry to Master Classics Amsterdam Online Final and Satellites and/or remove a player or disqualify a player from same and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
17. 32Red management reserves the right to change the rules and/or structure of the Master Classics, Amsterdam Online Final and/or Satellite Tournaments at its sole discretion. Any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
18. Players must be of legal age to participate in any of the tournaments.
19. 32Red shall in no way be liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by any winner of a Package as a direct or indirect result of accepting the Package and participating in the Master Classics, Amsterdam.
20. LEGALITY, INFORMATION DISCLOSURE AND TAXATION OF WINNINGS: 32Red jealously guards its participants' privacy. However, there may be circumstances in which disclosure of information to regulatory or fiscal authorities is necessary or desirable, and 32Red reserves the right to release information in such circumstances. Please note that 32Red cannot advise on the tax position of winners, as some jurisdictions treat poker wins as tax free, while in other jurisdictions such proceeds are taxable. If the winnings are taxable in your jurisdiction, you are solely responsible to keep track of and report your winnings to the appropriate authorities. Likewise, 32Red cannot advise on whether the playing of poker over the internet is lawful in your jurisdiction. You must establish that your participation on 32Red is lawful in your own jurisdiction.
