Bad Beat Jackpot hit at over €21K: Opt in or miss out!

If you’re not opting in to the Bad Beat Jackpot when you’re playing at our Cash tables, you simply won’t get a share of the spoils when it hits. The BBJ takes a novel approach to the bad beat scenario, with the unlucky loser (e.g. when four kings is pipped to the post by four aces) in this case having the last laugh by being the jackpot winner.

And the prize distribution is very user-friendly – just playing at the same stakes as the jackpot hand is enough to qualify you for a prize, as long as you remembered to opt in! To do that, simply click on the BB icon in the bottom right of the screen when you join a cash game. Note that eligible stakes are €0.10/€0.20 and higher, and the BBJ opt in facility is available only on the ‘Classic’ software.

The latest hit came at a €20 max table, with four of a kind (2222) losing to a 6-high straight flush! The progressive jackpot had reached €21,357 at the time, which meant that, with only three players not at the main table having taken the few seconds to opt in, each saw a juicy €711 added to their account! Imagine having a fun session at a €20 max table when, out of the blue, a pop-up message appears to let you know that you’ve just won hundreds of euros! Easy money…
